Gabbro from Huntly, Scotland rock thin section Mug (M43)

A thin rock section of Gabbro was viewed by polarised light microscopy. Gabbro is an igneous rock and shows olivine and orthopyroxene in feldspar. Plutonic (crystallised slowly at depth)

From Huntly in Aberdeenshire.

Bright colourful mugs printed by dye sublimation onto the highest quality mugs. Dye sublimation results in the dye penetrating the top surface of the mug, leaving a glossy finish (indistinguishable from a 'fired' mug) that is fully dishwasher-proof.
