A thin rock section of Peridotite was viewed by polarised light microscopy. Peridotite is an igneous rock. From the Ardnamurchan volcano in the Highlands of Scotland, now eroded down almost to the magma chamber, from where this sample would have originally come. Contains olivine, pyroxene and some feldspar.
60 Million years old. (the most recent volcano in UK).
These facemasks measuring 13 x 17.5cm have a full coverage print on their polyester front with a soft white cotton reverse. They come complete with 2 replaceable PM2.5 filters (8.5 x 12cm) that fit in a pouch between the outer and inner and soft elasticated ear loops (which come with rubber gromets to adjust for size but I normally just tie a loose knot in the elastic).
Please note that these are not medical grade masks but they are perfect for general use.
(Washing instructions - facemask machine wash at 40C, PM2.5 filter handwash. PM2.5 filter can be replaced with folded up kitchen roll.)
